For many times one young man asked me to go out with him. At last, I agreed to go, we agreed on some kind of a movie. However, my girl-friend had a personal crisis and it was necessary to encourage her and I decided to take her with me. When my guy knew about that he said he was not a sugar-daddy and not paying for my girlfriend as well. I have paid no attention since I knew that my girlfriend was taking her male friend with her. When we have come, and my “partner” knew he wouldn’t have to pay for all of us he looked really relieved.  At the bar he always tried to buy me something but I only asked for Coke. But my man, obviously not willing to look greedy, bought me two huge bottles. Of Course, I couldn’t be done with all Coke during the film and I tried to throw the rest of it away after the movies. You should have seen horror into my “boyfriend’s” eyes!  After that date I never met him again.

My significant other is my closest friend, my lover and sometimes my enemy (that’s when we fight – “verbally” of course). There are lots of reasons why I chose him as a partner of my life: he is very thoughtful, generous, treat me with respect and good care, and of course love is indispensable. Most of all I like about him is his attitude to life, is that he is always open to people, things and life in general, his smile and jokes makes me laugh and always improves my mood. But sometimes I need a person to talk to, where I can get a piece of advice and help – that’s him as well; he is the person on which I can rely on in every respect.

I do like my current phone carrier. It is one of the most known and used here in the U.S. It provides rather good quality of calls, text messages are delivered properly and in time, internet connection is slow but for the telephone it’s ok, I can live with that. Besides, the rates are not that high, and if I refer anybody (like friend or family member) to them I can receive $ 25 money back, which is nice as well. I can also add lots of applications to my phone the prices of which are affordable and even free sometimes (depending on the app.) In general, I am definitely satisfied with my phone carrier and I am not going to change it any time soon.

As usually, I started this past week with my daily routine i.e. working on my current projects. Since my specialty is translation I am making money by helping out my clients with their translation needs. Of course, my life, as a life of any human being, is not based on doing work only, so I, as everybody, need rest and need to spend my time for pleasure. Some kind of hobby would be nice, mine for instance is figure skating. Normally, on evenings, I go to our skating pavilion where I can practice my steps and pas.  In addition, household choirs are inseparable like doing dishes, cleaning the house and all the mess that my family does.

Definitely my wife should be the first one included in the 3 people. Secondly, I would like to have lunch with Dan Ariely who is the author of the famous book called ‘Predictably Irrational.’ Since I was very impressed by his book, I just want to have time with him and talking about human beings’ irrationality. I believe that having lunch with him will inspire me in some ways. Finally, I just want to invite Jesus to our lunch table because I have so many questions regarding the holy bible and want to know what he is thinking about me.

As to food, Sushi is my favorite food. I do not mean just plain, fake sushi that we can have in any of Japanese restaurants in the United States. I mean the real sushi that we can have in Japan. I love all kinds of sushi, especially different parts of TORO. As to drink, I love Canada dry – tonic water flavor. I know that not many people like tonic water but I came to love it since I had it on my wedding date probably because I had a really great memory associated with my wedding. So, I always order tonic water when I am on the plane.

If I could eat lunch with any three people I wanted, I would choose three of my very good friends. Who wants to have lunch with a celebrity you don’t even know? After all, a celebrity is just a person, not some kind of god-like entity. And I don’t think I’d want to have lunch with someone who’s been dead for many years; the stench would make me lose my appetite, and I wouldn’t say anything so as not to appear rude. I would have the most wonderful time with my good friends, chatting it up and having fun.

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one food and one drink, I would choose a large pepperoni pizza from my favorite pizzeria, Village Pizza III, and a Gold Peak brand Iced Tea. Village Pizza III makes the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life; I once cried when I my husband brought some home for our one year anniversary, like he had given me a diamond ring or something. It’s just that good, especially when you put pepperoni on it; it’s just the right amount of crispy and greasy. As for Gold Peak Iced Tea, when I drink it, it feels like liquid gold is running down my throat. It’s so refreshing, and the flavor is so powerful and deep, it makes my tongue wish it could sing.
